Ladies, is there anything worse than pale skin? Especially as a Canadian who was about to embark on a vacation down south (after months of sunless hibernation!) I should note that some people do look amazing with a paler skin tone but not this girl! In my younger years I would go to tanning booth salons … eww, what on earth was I thinking?! Young and foolish. Talk about killing your skin, not to mention upping the odds of skin cancer … AND no one wants to look leathery like the lady in “There’s Something about Mary”. I knew there had to be a better option!
I started staying out of the sun and avoiding harmful sun rays quite a few years ago. While I tried tanning salons for their spray tans, I was never truly satisfied. Sure, it looked great for a couple days, but it always seemed to fade unevenly no matter how much I exfoliated prior and moisturized after.
Last year, I stumbled upon Tan on the Run when one of my Facebook friends posted about her amazing experience. “On the run”, meaning they come to YOU! Does it get more convenient than that? They show up at your house with their spray tan tent so nothing is ruined or gets covered in tanning residue.
You might remember seeing them on the Dragons Den! They operate across Canada and even internationally.
What I love the most is that you don’t have to jump back into an outfit and worry about your tan rubbing off on your clothes immediately after. You’re in the comfort of your own home, so you can put on a loose robe and not be paranoid of uneven blotches.
There are so many tanning options, and you can even customize your tan package. From super simple to upgraded with all the bells and whistles. The products are hypoallergenic, paraben-free, made with certified organic ingredients including aloe vera and essential oils. Results are incredible and last 7 to 10 days.
Tan on the Run is perfect for me, as a busy mom, I’m sure you can imagine how hard it is for me to find time to get a spray tan so this is really convenient and perfect for my schedule. I was really excited about our recent family vacation to Mexico, and thank god for Tan on the Run for giving me a sweet glow to show up with! I plan to have another one soon to keep the glow alive even longer!
